A champion is someone who gets up when he can’t
This quote belongs to William Harrison “Jack” Dempsey (1895 – 1983). Are champions born or self-made? The answer is “yes!” Each person has a genetic foundation from which to work, which offers certain natural talents and abilities. What is most important to success is the desire to be the best person possible. It is the inner drive that propels a person forward through adversity, pain, and all other possible obstacles. A champion is able and willing to sacrifice everything in order to be a winner. This is true on the athletic field as well as in the home or office. Each of us has the potential to be a “champion.” Start with simple everyday life activities, and do them to the best of your abilities. You will be able to expand upon this newly found confidence to improve the possibility of developing the champion in you. Go for it!
